Brief from client 

Simply wanted a logo for her new popcorn business.

I decided to keep it very simple with a popcorn feel so its easily recognizable.

I like the feeling of it overall. What I don't understand is the small bubbles in the top right corner. It looks like a cloud to me, not a popcorn shape. The letters are too much squeezed together and overlap. You need to work on that. Also I think with the popcorn shape you can come up with a fun idea that has double meanings. Think about it. Sorry, I don't want to be too negative. Just trying to help!

In terms of color symbolism, blue is the most un-appetizing color. The subheading may say "Popcorn", but I would assume they just sell cotton candy. I would definitely agree with "botw" in saying that it doesn't look like popcorn.
