The red thumbs are a little harsh as i dont think the font is bad, nor the symbol or the colours but i think they could be better.

I dont like the offset symbol, for me it really unbalances the logo, i would center the dogs face with the shield but have the dogs face bigger than the shield so it looks like its popping out of it. I dont think that light gold colour is strong enough and it makes everything look a little flat, i would put some shadows/highlights into your symbol to create a bit more expression/3D/pop.

I like the font you have used but it definitely needs the bottom of it to follow the same curve as the top of the shield.

This is a really good start and has sooo much potential to become a really great logo. i wish i could get my hands on it myself lol

Good luck taking it to the next level

This is certainly better than the first version. I will miss the little kitty hidden in the terrier's mouth, but I'll pull through.

Okay. This isn't working yet. It being offset looks still looks like a mistake. Unless there is something to explain it being offset, such as the body of the dog, it isn't going to work in a medallion. (Especially as a sports team logo)

Next, that blue outline around the dog, it is the same colour as the background. It looks wrong. It makes everything fade into the background.

It actually shouldn't have a blue background at all, at least compared to other sports logos I've seen. (And if it does, then it isn't a colour in the logo and it has a white outline around the whole thing)

The text isn't connected in a meaningful way to the logo. It is floating there, sports logos don't do that.

I think that keeping the colour count down is a good idea, I think you need to ditch that cyan and pull in dark blue, or gray.

I found a logo that uses some good colours together, incorporates the text, and shows how outlines look on sports logos. Remember, they always have more than necessary! :)

Do some research on google with sports logos, I think it will help!

Your mascot looks a lot less intimidating or "strong" than before. It actually looks mad in an adorable puppy way.

I would definitely draw inspiration from other mascot logos and discover what makes them so compelling and iconic. And yes, one of the reasons is their outrageously thick outlines :)
