These look like military insignia's. I fail to see how this would befit a library. Don't you dare say that these are open books..

I don't get library out of this at all. Instead I see very minimal effort to convey books. Adding a second behind the first doesn't make it any more interesting and isn't helpful.

Well, I see books alright but this is not really a logo. It's a pictogram more than anything.

Looks like a couple of chevrons.
