TLC The Landscaping Company

Brief from client
No brief, was left to my own creation
Here's an updated version with a few tweaks, the top left ribbon has been adjusted to make each triangle look more equal - good spot there.
Ive adjusted the text ever so slightly to fit the shape of the curves better.. this actually proved to be quite difficult!
I made the shovel bigger so you can see all of the bottom part, its also allowed the TLC to increase in size which i think is a good thing :)
Once again thanks for all your kind words! Fingers crossed the client likes it so i can start working on vehicle graphics and stationery!

Not bad. Altho im not feeling the "TLC" at the bottom of the shovel. And the edges of the shovel aren't rounded out properly. In my opinion, it would look smoother and better if you tweaked that perhaps.
Im still not sure myself whether this logo portrays the company enough... Its starting to remind me of a tattoo now... :S i think i need some more convincing off you kind people before i show it to the client
Lies!!
This logo is really good and totally in line with what it supposed to represent. Look at all the logos on the thumbnail page. It's definitely the one which stands out the most.
Now, I would have the upper edge of the shovel match the curve of the ribbon.
thanks, i noticed the part your on about with the shovel head as soon as i uploaded it, ive since changed it to how you said and sent it to the client along with some other options my assistant done. Fingers crossed they like it! :)
I like it, and I think it works, just fix the shovel as mentioned.
I do not think the TLC is required there.
Now that I look at it, as Mahayni pointed out, I don't think the TLC on the shovel head is necessary. Maybe something hip like "since 19xx" would be more appropriate. Or maybe just add some shovel details.
PS: you have an assistant?! =)
I totally agree about the TLC but the name of the Company is: TLC The Cleaning Company, i know its a bit odd! ill see if they are able to drop the TLC.
haha yea well more of an office junior.. Im creative design manager at my work and we recently appointed a junior to look after our social media and to help me out =)
