Brief from client
...an innovative furniture brand...tvastra means "creative power" in sanskrit....
sorry but the font has to go. It is to much to deal with. I understand you are trying to portray an innovative furniture brand but keep the typography simple. If you get a good typeface it will say it all without you having to add bits to it.
I still think you should revise the actual logo itself as it doesn't seem to be working. I see potential in this logo but it just needs some attention. sketch up some draft logo designs which you believe could work and go along with them
The first one was much stronger, it just needed to be softened a little bit. This is a completely different idea that has too much going on and doesn't work. That thin outline on the bottom curve doesn't look good. However I do see potential in the form of the shapes and the box, if you disregard the type.
The symbol is so aggressive. It isn't pleasing to look at.
The colors may work- but, I really think you should start from scratch. Listen to some reggae, chill out, and sketch up some inviting ideas. Maybe make a rule: "nothing with points" and see what happens. You can always bring the points back in if it helps the design... : )

The type and it's treatment have to go.
