Brief from client
Vidsome is a new online video marketing agency. They needed a logo in which the icon and text could stand on their own. The logo should be recognisable.

Great logo! I think it shows what the company stands for pretty well. I'm just not convinced if this is the right color combination yet. Especially with the feather/gradient you put in there to highlight the O. (any specific reason you did that?) But you're on the right track good job.
Thanks! I played way too long with the colors... I'll give them a review.
The gradient was added to give the logo some more punch.
I like this a lot! You've done well with the brief as in the text could stand alone and so could the symbol. I would maybe try a darker blue just so the symbol is more visible when on its own. I quite like the gradients in this example but think you need to go for a flat colour version as well.
Good Job :)
Looks amazing and well planned. I MIGHT make the blue a bit darker, it might fade into a white background too much. In which case, perhaps a black and white logo might be used.
Great job.
It's a good start, but I think there could be some tweaks done to bring it over the top.
I understand your stylized play button, and I really like that part of your mark. It's the best part of your logo and could really stand on it's own. Great job on that!
I don't really understand the separation on your letter "E", taking out the spine of the letter doesn't really add anything, in my opinion. If anything, it kind of makes the triangular shape look like it's taking off... Also the angles on the left side of those hash marks don't look quite even. That could be from the resolution needed to post here, which I understand completely, but might be something to look into. The embellishment on the letter "I," don't change a thing about that. It ties with your symbol perfectly in shape and color.
Anyway, one person's opinion, but keep it up. Great job so far.
Thx for your feedback, very valuable!
The left parts of the E are aligned to the M, and I separated them to make the word-mark recognizable on its own. But I might tweak them.
