Brief from client 

Client loves the original direction (a). I put (b) together to see what a cabin would look like in the mark. I'm not sure it adds anything and I'm wondering if I should even present this as an option.

They are both good, but I like B because you get a hint of what you are trying to portray. The shape of the cabin blends great with the trees, the colors are very complimentary and the text works great

i agree with lorewren, about the shadow and the typo..
it really needs a small space between WOODLAND and CABINS
btw..colors are great

love it ...great job...do agree that woodland and cabins need a bit of space between them.
