Professional and youth-centered. The logo should be adaptable.
The organization is often referred to by their acronym "KAYSC."
I'd like to hear feedback on the font and layout of the text on the bottom.
I prefer to have the text staggered (like in this example.) I'm not sure I prefer the italics used in this one though.
The background of this logo (shown as green) can also be replaced with abstract images (landscapes, textures, astronomical images, etc.)

Looks like you've got the basic elements you want, but need to work on bringing them together. I would start by creating your 3 cubes being all the same size, then space them to create the "Y" without having to create an actual "Y". I don't care for the text just cutting into the symbol like it is. The italic font isn't needed as well as the color change or the bold vs. unbold. I like the size and weight of "youth science center".
