What is an .lsi file?

Forums:
General

If i download a file and try to open or import with Corel, it tells me it's an .lsi file and that's not supported by Corel....Any suggestions?

.lsi seems to be an extension for audio files. Weird that you would get that while downloading a logo.

Can you give me the link to that file, please?

It will open in Winplot but not Corel....

It's not a .lsi file but a .ai, which means it's an Adobe Illustrator file. It is used by most designers.

You can always convert it to a .cdr with this website: https://www.zamzar.com/fr/convert/cdr-to-ai/

It's probably due to the fact that you don't have Illustrator installed on your PC and it kinda find the next best thing, which is weird actually. But it's definitely an AI file.

You can change the extension manually to .ai and then convert it to .cdr with the link I gave you.

Even if i open an EPS, not an AI file from here in winplot then try to save it it'll say it's an lsi file.....Bizarre

It looks like winplot will open ai files up to ai7 and that .isi file has something to do with winplot
WinPlot is a bridge program that allows you to open and either cut or plot the following types of files 1 : Adobe Illustrator (*.ai) (legacy version 3.0) Encapsulated PostScript (*.eps) (vector graphics) Portable Document Format (*.pdf) (vector graphics) ISI Design File (*.isi)
