Brief from client
The Whisper Magazine is Uganda’s progressive business media brand,
with a unique editorial focus on innovation in technology, ethonomics (ethical business), leadership, and people improvement. Written for, by, and about the most progressive business leaders, The Whisper Magazine asked for a logo that reflected that. Neat and Tidy was the theme for me.

Why are some of the letters touching and some are not? Why is there what looks like a filler in the bottom half of the W? These are the questions that arise in my brain when I look at this logo. It's not TERRIBLE I guess, but it's certainly not making me jump out of my chair.
I'd also think about putting the little 'THE' on top of the W instead of IN the W. Eh!!?!
I agree with Sara. Whereas I don't mind the tight letterspacing, the re-worked W isn't good. Instead of helping to integrate THE, it make it look even more foreign. Yes, please try to find a better spot for THE. The banner edge to the MAGAZINE shape is interesting, but... maybe the whole thing is just too red.
