I do not like how the t cuts into the D i think version 2 is your winner!

This logo is off balance that it makes me crazy! =)

More seriously, with the W, the word "redwood" is centered. Placing "motorsports" on the right side, or the left side for that matters, is totally making the whole composition uneven.

Forget the idea of the bar at the base of "redwood" crossing the Ts of "motorsports". It's a useless gimmick. You already have the W thing which is cool. Center "motorsports" and it'll all fall into place.

I'm not a fan of the font for the subtext, especially that close from the main text. I'd look for a different cursive.
