Brief from client
For a law firm. Another version of the one just uploaded.
Calling this a clip art is a bit much, but I must say this logo is a bit underwhelming.
Like the JMA car rental logo, it gives a totally wrong vibe about what this business is about. On its own, this logo makes me think of an open door/mountain related business, but definitely not a law firm.
Specific businesses generally come with specific codes. Not that these codes lust be drastically followed at all times, but they have the advantage to put the viewer on the right track as to what the logo is all about.
This logo needs a lot more work. To be honest, it feels like you didn't spend much time coming up with this. You need to follow a proper creative process, which includes, but isn't limited to, research, inspiration and more importantly sketching. A lot of it..
Thanks for the feedback. I've taken another run at it, posted just now. I'm still going with roughly the same mountain symbol, but may well abandon that for future attempts.

This can't be called a logo. It's a clipart, not a good one, with a text underneath it.
