This logo was done for folio class at school. It's a romantic Italian Wine. I just recently won a Louie for the package design
This has potential, but I'm not a fan of the scripted font. It's not easy to read.
Also you need to spend some more time on the composition. The subtext is stuck to the brand name while the symbol is floating about.
The symbol by the way is really cool and evocative.
Once again I'm in agreement with Shawali. Mainly about the text- that script is sort of hard to read (although I've seen wine bottles with much more difficult scripts in use) but the one thing that really bothers me is how everything is just floating around- nothing is anchored to anything else. That and the symbol strikes me as being really really small (or the text is just gigantic) - which doesn't help the floating feeling.
