Hello, I am in the process of putting my portfolio together before my graduation next year. This is a logo that I designed for myself. I would appreciate any/all, as well as good/bad feedback. Thanks!
So much going on its not even funny. Im not even going to humor you with what you should do so I'm going to tell you this... scrap this completely. Maybe you need that extra year to really get some focus on what this should be. I'm not even trying to be an asshole but I know how it is. First year vs. last year stuff. Research research research :)
Making a logo for yourself is about the toughest design work you can do imo, and I don't think you were really doing that with this one. This looks extremely generic, try to do something more personal. Overall, this is bad in every way, gradients, clipart looking graphics, bad drop shadows, bad type, too many colors and random elements. I'd definitely suggest you look up some inspiration and do a lot more sketches before trying again, agreed with above. Research research research. Find stuff you like, figure out why it works and build on that.
