very good start... nice rustic feel, mediterranean feel, is that what you are trying to achieve? although i have no idea what the icons are supposed to be?

maybe define them more and bam, you will have a good logo.

Give more identity for the shapes, some swirls and twirls should solve the problem , but not too decorative. The logo is fine as it is....

The detailed shadows does nothing for me. Not sure how everyone else feels about them, but as far as I'm concerned, you can lose them and the logo gets better, not worse. Other than that, I'm liking this!
