you did a way better job on the other DHIR logo you did, I think it would be a good idea to use the same typography from that logo with a new symbol done in the same style of the one you did for that logo too. This looks no where near as good.

Well, you got two things going on here, which is one too many: the house and the shovel. It's always better to stick to one symbol, mostly for simplicity's sake.

I'd get rid of the house, it's way too common when it comes to construction logo. What you did with the shovel is interesting and you should keep it. Keep working on that idea, but look a for a better font maybe.

Watch out, we still see the silhouette of the serif you substitute de shovel for. Which makes me think you're working on a pixel based software. If so, don't! Logos should be made in vector. Stick to Illustrator, you'll be better off.

To conclude, I really preferred the aquaculture logo you did last week. It looked cool, simple and professional. This, not so much. To the point I wonder if the same person did the two =)

Yes its a vector.
The lines are on a different layer i think.

I just wanted to try something different for this logo but you guys are right i should stick whit the same fonts to because both companies fall under the same incorporation it would make it more united.

I just need to come up whit a symbol that would work whit the Aquaculture Typeface for this because they want a symbol.

If this logo and the aquaculture one are under same umbrella brand, you should make sure that they are graphically coherent.
