Coolish Legs

Brief from client

A small clothing brand designed for girls. I went with pink as a main and only color because it addresses feminism and I won't be up to change it, but I'm looking for feedback on the fonts and the small legs symbol.

Another one!

Sorry if I sound a bit harsh, but these logos you keep posting look like you're not even trying. I you wandered why you don't get much feedback, it's because they look awfully boring and lazy. You really need to spend more time on them.

Creating a logo is a bit more than typing in a font and calling it done. It takes a lot of research (competition, market, etc.), inspiration (www.logopond.com www.dribbble.com www.pinterest.com) and most importantly: SKETCHING.

Sketching is the most important part of the creative process. This is where
ideas organically come by, straight from your brain to your hand, without any computer limitations but only your own, which can be pushed back the more you sketch. It's also a great way to learn how to "feel" shapes, curves, proportions, composition, etc. and basically shape your eyes for good design. With a proper amount of inspiration to fuel your creativity.

So there it is. There's no two ways about creating a good logo. It takes times and dedication. But that's where the fun is. If you think you're done after 5 minutes, you're doing it wrong.
