CSG Logo need critique

Brief from client
New company logo for myself. Decal wraps and things along those lines. Purple line around it is the cut line for a sticker.
This is a logo for my company that is in the work of being created. Objective is to make motocross graphics but can do other things like decals or trailer wraps.
Need some critique on the logo. May be missing something.

the idea is fine enough but I would go more dynamic and without outline. Keep the solid colors and remove the background scheme, more action in the mix here is a need. The font is fine but is place for better, i have nothing in my mind for the moment, but i need to be sober to provide a better feedback.
I forgot to remove the outline, it is for a contour cut to cut out the image as a sticker.
I think the issue is that you've got about 4 things going on that take away from a central focus. "MX Graphics" is informative, but is stuck in a corner and reduced to a very small size as opposed to CSG which is huge. The partial star background doesn't add anything. A full screwed star would have more impact. the die cut idea could be clever, but doesn't stand alone without a description.
What would you suggest i do? ide like to have some sort of design rather than just plain old csg. Thanks for your feedback !
I don't like neither the font you used for the "CSG" nor the much too small "MX Graphics".
And the (I suppose) white background looks like a broken star.

I would remove all the strokes to clear things out. They don't bring anything good and clutter the whole thing.
