I think your proportions are off a lot and your symbol is not looking right either.

maybe if you took away the black line and awkward looking yellow boxes and tried to make it look a little more tribal.

I can imagine Pablo Picasso making a drawing like this but his would be far, far, far better executed.
If you wanted it to look abstract, it's not abstract enough.
If you wanted to make it look like a normal graphic, it's not drawn and executed good enough.
If you wanted to make it look like aboriginal cave doodle, it's still not good enough or consistent with their drawings.

What was your idea here?
You wanted to show adventure happening in Australia?
Sorry but I don't see any adventure here. How about you take a step back and re-think your approach to this?

I like the idea, but the shapes in the background just are not making sense to me. Maybe the background shape was the that of Australia I could see the yellow in the background, but right now I just don't see the purpose.
The symbol definitely needs to be smaller because when you scale this down the symbol is still going to be quite large, but the text will be unreadable. Maybe round of the back of the roo instead of just flattening it off.

i like the feel of this logo...work on the symbol more and i think you should be good.

Where's the tail of the roo?
