Your illustrations are great but as far as using this as a logo it does not work...

1. Its really hard to read the text
2. When scaled down you will lose all the details.
3. its overcomplicated

Keep it simple! One of those illustrations with some nice font work would look great. Im looking forward to seeing some simpler versions!

This would work even scaled down. But you'd lose the little details. But to be fair i think it would do better without those little things. Your text however wouldn't. You're better off having something flat for your name, instead of a text going negative. Try to find your own balance for your logo. It doesn't need to be oversimplified but like M@ said, it wouldn't hurt to use only 1 or 2 little buggers out of your illustrations in your logo instead of the whole family. Love it. Keep it up!
