Gateway Telecomunicaciones
keep enterprise colors: red and/or blue, keep an identifying item like the tower, a microwave antenna and to give an international image or make emphasis in the Grupo (the relation it has with other companies).
ok what i want to make emphasis on is this:
the person who is asking for this logo requires that all of these elements appear on it ---> a tower, an antenna, a map/world/continent, a satellite, an hexagon and the words "Grupo Gateway Telecomunicaciones Systems TCR".
I've already talked to the people who is making the choice but they don't listen to the meaning elements economy, so i want to make that this hexagon i remade shows that the parts that conform it are the companies related to the "Group" the color blue is necessary... so just for visual tasks i added the gradient, of course they want that the logo shows that this company is dedicated to telecomunications so they insisted on the antenna that's why i included it on the typography.
Please any ideas are welcome, this persons are a bit old.. so you know they won't accept any "modern" idea if possible...

I know its probably just me but I see a swastika in the Octagon, I think I would work on how it breaks away. Thats just me though no one else may not even see that, & I know their are more lines in yours than an actual one. Thats just the first thing I thought when I saw the logo.
I like everything else maybe make tag line bigger

The octagon is doing nothing. If you remove it nobody is going to miss it.
The microwave antenna attached to the "t" needs a bit of rework. If you take it out of the stem of the letter it might look better.
make the tagline go from the left side of the "G" to the end of the descender of the "y". Extend a bit the descender If necessary.
You came a long way since the last one..
I don't see a swastika, so that's good. You aren't using gradients but lighter shades of solid color- so you're ok there also.
It sounds like you are just going to have to give the client what they want..
If he likes this- sell it and run!
It isn't bad. The symbol is well executed and the type is clean- except for the antennae do-dad.. but that's the client's fault.
My advice is to play around with the placement and proportions of all the elements until you find better balance. I think that is all you can do if your client has no common sense and won't listen to reason.
