Brief from client
logo is made in the form of traditional logo
give some tribal symbols on the logo
some logos that I like
1. steam
2 Mr. Bread
3. Mc Donald
I'm not getting "tribal" vibes from this piece. I'm instead seeing tropical, splashy shapes within the letters. With that aside, using these kinds of interesting shapes serves as a strong foundation for an eye catching logo. I have a few improvements I would suggest.
Creating the first "H" larger than the other two does nothing for the design in my mind, and the smaller type is far too off-centered for my liking.
I'm not sure what letters the client wishes to be emphasized, perhaps three letters is a bit much for complex shapes? I would simplify it to using to one letter, and use the M in Malang.
Lastly, I would arrange the gradient direction a bit more logically. The upper text moves from dark to light, where the smaller text transitions from light to dark. I would also argue that the colors seem too dull for a logo.
Great start, but the above suggestions could improve your product.
