I uploaded the same logo by accident, please critique the other copy; thank you.
Thanx, but corny? I'd say they're more cheesy than anything else. lol. Thanx for the input, I will def take your notes into consideration for the next manifestations . Am a super-noob to this. Am pretty much learning this as I go, with the help of the internet and people much like yourself of course.
Forgive me, I was just being silly. Your English is fine, its my jokes that need improving (not only my designing skills). You had it correct the first time, they're corny designs.
Hopefully I can learn from my mistakes and go on to make less of them in the future .... until then .... be prepared to have your eyes assaulted from time to time by my "work".
Can do!! But the client hates black or white font calling it "boring" and "insists" that I incorporate some color. I explained how it will be less legible when scaled down, and how adding too many colors can add to printing costs, blah, blah, blah , but they say they will "deal with it when it becomes an issue"; so I am now obligated to deliver "letters with some color" or risk the possibility of being replaced by 'The Logo Creator'.
Color isn't the same as gradients. You can just use simple colors without all the 3D and gradient stuff. Gradients and 3D effects only look good when done perfectly, which I imagine takes a while to master.

I'm sorry, but none of these logos really work.
Too many gradients, too much details (maps are rarely a good idea for logos), terrible choice of font and corny 3D and blur effects...
Get as much inspiration as you can from this site and others like www.inspirationfeed.com www.fromupnorth.com and as far as fonts are concerned : www.fontsinuse.com www.typophile.com www.losttype.com and www.fontfabric.com
Also, it's better to start with a pen and a piece of paper.
Good luck!

Stay well.
Yeah, I'm not 100% sure "corny" was the right word, not being en English native speaker. =)
Good luck with what's next =)

Thanx for the pointers.

I concur with Shawali- don't use gradients or the shadow effect, etc, etc...
Just keep it simple and start with a few new ideas!
