Round 2. Added a detail, trying to show the "information passing through" idea. Killed the IP stroke and headshot the Typography.

Meh, the colors are still dated. Check out what colors are in fashion nowadays.
Maybe this swoosh is too much. It kinda complicates things.

This is very nice, but I'm wondering if the whole thing is soon to be dated. There's been so much of this style logo treatment in 2 years, that it's probably on the way out or reached over-saturation. Shemale is right about the swoosh. It doesn't fit because it isn't getting the same lighting treatment the rest of the logo is getting and it isn't generating any light.
