I like the general idea of this, but eeeeehhhhmmmmmmm...

I'm sorry but I just can't help but have a reminiscent of the American Postal Service logo but with a narrower "beam":

I think it's because the blue background and the white light bothers me. I would say try using a white background and revising the entire light post idea. One idea I had was maybe making a "cut out" of those letters that you have instead of showing a white light inside of them, making use of negative space and also probably making it more pleasing to the eye.

I do like your font choice :D I will say though that your "K" "U" and "T" should all be equally kerned like the letters "BAY" are.

I also kind of scratch my head on why this upload was titled "Lanturn" if your logo here reads "Baykut"?

"I see what you did there." but it is executed very poorly.
the beam should go through the letter "b" but it kinda looses its movement after the penetration.

I like the idea tho :)

Yes getting there with this one! Except that your "K" can do without that tiny line in the middle of it where the light's point starts. Since it will vanish anyways when shrunken down to smaller sizes :D

Other than that it looks way better!

This is much improved. I like.
