It looks like you altered the top font.
The kerning on the top letters is really bad, either space it out a little or actually take the time in illustrator to merge the letters into one shape seamlessly. If you worked on it I think it would be alright for the direction you're going for, it does remind me of money.
I agree with the others about the letters needing to be fixed- it looks like you just kerned them together in a rush. As for the colors- I'm never a fan of yellow fonts and maybe you were going for a coin color, but to me it's just too brassy and almost hard to read. Last thing - I'd make the text below much darker to make it pop, make it feel more rich!
