Brief from client
To come up with a brand for a value loaf of bread that doesnt look like a value loaf of bread but looks more high end at a low price. they like the idea of using a windmill to go with the name Millar's
cheers Shawali, ive spent quite a bit of time on it and have done 3 different concepts, will attach the other two later, this was my favourite of the 3
I agree with the Shawali. Simplify the sails, slightly reduce the circle. And maybe add clouds (then reduce the circle is not necessary). Anyway - great job.
On the package I do not like that the wheat head down
This one does it for me. I like all the extra white space. The brown could use another shade of brown to lighten this up a bit. The Millars looks nice here too. Its the overall contrast of colours that im not too keen on with the others.
The logo here on its own looks much better too.
I think this design style is much more suited towards the attitude of the product though. The colours are a bit bright too, could use some nice combinations to bring this out.

heres the packaging idea:
Really good job M@!
I really like this one, very old timey!
One thing though: maybe I'd try to simplify the sails. I fear that the way they look right now is a tid bit complicated.
But anyway, great effort.

One more thing: maybe spend some more time on the perspective of the field in the background.
Check out how the Obama logo does it.
Heres another concept

thanks Joe, this is the one the client has picked!
And heres the 3rd concept... inspiration for the text came from Joe white :)
I like this one too, except that I'm not sure a strong purple color is approprita for this kind of product.
But really good job on the font work.

I'm just not sure Bread is ready for this yet?
