Brief from client
Create a brand for a restaurant-pizzeria (PerBacco) starting from a redesign of an exinting picture of little Bacco. The look was to be funny and friendly.
Parody of a small Bacco a little bit drunk entring in a door with a pizza and a wine bottle.

unreadable font, too much stuff on the symbol, effect should go away (away away away...). But i like the ideea, perhaps simplify , go to the core of the message and get rid of the additional stuff.
Yes, the font is too much for both the main text and the subtext- you MIGHT be able to get away with it if you just use it for the main text- but definitely use something else for the subtext. And definitely take the shadow (the light pink shadow that's lurking behind all text) away- that's just making things more complicated/cluttered than necessary. I also think you could (should?) take the line away from under the text- it doesn't really need to be there.
Lastly, the symbol you've got going on, while he's kind of cute and everything, he's soooooo complicated, and none of those details (crown thing and the grapes) are going to show up when this is printed on a business card or anything that's rather small.
Simplify the logo as much as you can, take out the line, take out the shadow on the font, and change the subtext.... Then see what you have!
