Brief from client
Need a logo for Think-a Studio. This name was made from a part of the company owners name. He wants to say Thinker, and he said play it as Thinka. Need reddish yellow or golden color.
This is a photography studio, used symbols like shutter speed, lenses. Spiral sign used to symbolise thoughts. Accept your valuable coments for these four logos.

I like number 1 is very good I would increase the photography text so that you can read it better.
Number 4 is the next best, I would choose the same font for photography that you had on 1
i like number 1 also, but i think if the logo is minimized, the word "photography" will be very hard to read. i have to somewhat squint a little to read it right now also.
#2 looks like a nice snail, the execution needs some attention. Work on it.
The light bulb is just an overdone idea.
lightbulb is an overdone idea but i personally like the way they added their own touch and flavor to it.
I agree with luenib~ lightbulb=done.. and done.
#2 just doesn't have anything behind it. Generic and forgettable. Looks like a mosquito coil (those ones you burn at a picnic)
#3 is just all over the place. Let's not talk about #3.
My favorite is #4~ The text is unique and the colors go well together. The mark is memorable. The logo is contained, which will work well as a watermark, etc.
I would change the font for "photography" to the font used in #1.
The corners of the "N" mark would look better if they were the same. I suggest 2 points like the bottom right. (replace top left with the same as bottom right)
Work up those changes and come back... I think you'll be done. Pretty sure everyone will agree.
i don't really care about whats done or not, but #1 is nice. even tho it relly doesnt tell u much about what it is about until u read the text "photography" uhm u can either try working more on it orkeep it this wat. but its alright.
i go for number 2,just little bit adjust to the symbol make it proportion.good job.
No.1 is greater than other. Lightread display type and positive/accident colors with trendy "eco-style" shape are brings normal logo understanding,
Thanks for everyone. Your valuable ideas are great. At this movement I'm stuck with #1 & #4. I also agreed with bulb idea has done. But more than 50% accept it. So help me...
Here's my help:

The list could go on and on but the point here is that if you use a cliche in your design, then you are not working hard enough to give your business an original image, something your clients can remember. Give your clients more of the same and they will think that you most likely are more of the same.
Pick #4 and be a man.
I don't think anything works here mostly because of the lack of proper idea execution.
It's true, most concepts have been done but I think you can still make a good one with your No. 1.
Lightbulb idea is probably the most overused of all you displayed here (we have all done it, I did it in situations where there was no other choice available) but it's not necessarily wrong. You can try developing it differently and, please, take care about your execution.
Here is a sample of one of my old 'lightbulb' logos that works:
you say the lightbulb idea is overused and that they can try developing it differently, can you point out logo's that have executed lightbulbs differently. because to be honest with you, your lightbulb is the generic version just slanted with different color rays. i think the lightbulb version using the th as the screw cap was well thought out and creative. they could use some touch up to the logo, but i think doing the lightbulb that way added some touch to it.
here is a link with some different lightbulbs used in logo's that stand differently. http://buildinternet.com/2009/04/27-illuminating-lightbulb-logos/
only thing that comes to mind right now that i can recommend to weerawardana is, since it is a photography logo, try and see if you can incorporate some type of camera flash/light bulb that stands out that you know once you see it, you know it belongs to a photographer or camera. (just my opinion though)
Everyone is entitled to it's own opinion.
My main remark was that his execution is not good and that his 'lightbulb' idea can work with a different and better execution.
I posted one of my old logos as an example to show him how an 'old & overused' concept can still work if it's executed properly.
I am not going to give anyone any ideas on how a 'lightbulb can be developed differently', it would be like handing you cash. If you want to be called a designer you need to find and develop your own ideas.
The best way is to tell someone if something works or not. Critiques are highly personal but if he values someones input, a good designer will use information he received wisely.
My vote goes with #4, using a more legible sans serif font for "Photography". Can't agree more with the comments in regards to the overuse of the lightbulb. Maybe would like it more if it was more like a camera flash instead of a light bulb.
Please only post one logo at a time. It's not possible to comment on so many all at the same time and the rating doesn't work at all this way.
