Nah, it doesn't work. I don't know what you're trying to convey with these weird black strokes and I have a hunch that you don't either.

The use of cyan, magenta, yellow and black in a printing press logo is getting really old and ugly.

Agree with previous comments. This logo lacks depth that would imply quality printing. The "R" character doesn't seem to have any dominance over the color shapes. The CMYK theme is over used.
