Same colors, just playing with squares now... how do you feel about the symbol??

Iiish, that has to be the worst one.

Again, the symbol is way too messy, colors are dull and complicate things.

Stay as far from Impact as you can. This typeface is the hallmark for cheap logos.

The subtext is just floating about and wrecking whatever balance this logo could have had.

Yeah, this isn't lookin' good. The colors are SO pale- even the main text of the logo is super pale. And why oh why is the subtext on two lines and just floating off in space? They aren't even in alignment with the main text!?!

I haven't seen or commented on any of the other versions but I'm sorry to say that this isn't a good logo. The symbol is just a mess, in my opinion. The light purple color being transparent and overlapping the oddly shaped i and c (or is that an r?) makes it even worse.

Personally, I would start completely over- new symbol, new font, new colors- but at VERY least, please please please fix this subtext. It's hurting my brain AND my feelings.

I see where you're trying to go with the "REI" symbol. The problem is in the dimensions of the cube base. It's creating negative space while trying to line up shapes. If you want to pursue the 3D cube idea creating "REI" then work on just that, then integrate the company name in phase 2. Or create your own type based on the shapes created out of the finished symbol. I still think there are some unique possibilities in this.
