Brief from client
To design a logo for video awards.
Well i used golden color - to show how special the event is. Then used black, yellow and red so that Ugandans can get attached to the event.
Any ways tell me what you guys think about the logo

This is good, seems to me as though the "W" is slightly raised above the rest of the text?

This is very pretty but...If it's a "video" award venue using "film" as a symbol doesn't really fit. Film and Video are completely different formats and industries. I read the color scheme as Germany. Perhaps there needs to be more to the title to distinguish this particular event.
In geral i just think u need to work more on the colors, i think something with gold will be nice because it's a award.
well the awards take place in Uganda and it is a new idea - so i used the flag colors of uganda so that it is emotional and people get attached to it. That was the whole idea of using Black, yellow and red

everything looks good not to fond of the red and yellow in the squares but its nice! good job!
I do agree with 2423Media, the film does not actually represent Video, although it can be seen as "movie = movie". But the rest is very good.
