And what is that "RIF. J-etc."?

The logo is alright and can work, but the font doesn't look very corporate.
It's too long, try a different font such as Avant Garde and place the text under the logo / icon and see what that does. Let me know what you think. Good Luck!

Think of the logo as a unit. Try to get the font and the logo / icon to work as a unit. Think of trying to place the current logo on a business card. It won't fit nicely in the corner as the text is in one long line. Try to get your text to fit in a square with your logo and then take the square away (the guideline).

I don't think that "comic style" font could work on a cooporate logo. The symbol could be more interesting, try another options.
For a cleaner logo, use the "RIF" thing on your applications not there
