....but why a bird? What does the company do? Please provide us some information about the company so we can determine if this is something that works.

It really doesn't even look like a bird to me. Shadows detract from the logo, and the text is big and bland.

Maybe you can modify the shapes to look more interesting, but right now this lacks a strong idea.
