I like the ideea, but you should loose the black shape, and make the wave a bit more real, put some more details. Also, the type needs a little more work.

I don't mean to be mean. This does not look like a swimming school. It reminds me of the green fin of creature from the blue lagoon, or something like that.

Unless the swimming instructor is the creature from the blue lagoon, I suggest you stay away from that design direction.

Maybe a logo of people swimming is a safer bet.
