Another idea based in the ornamental indoor citrus trees that grow in the college's plant nursery "La Palma".

too much elements in the tree, try to simplify the shapes a little.

Yep, that tree (while cool looking) is waaaay too complicated. Make that a lot more simple (which will also make the 50 much easier to read) and maybe make the pot that the tree is in a little more pot looking. I think it's a nice font that you chose, and while I like the green color that you have here, I'd go with a darker solid green once you have it simplified and either orange fruit circles or much darker yellow. Right now it's very hard to decipher what it says in the tree.
Very true great idea simplify it.
also the yellow might be hard to see for some on the white background
Nice idea, but try a redo on the tree, maybe trying to be less realistic so you can weave the "50" in better.
