pixels...yumy . Watch for kerning problems at symbol and try something less boring, play more with that symbol . also try uploading a higher quality image.
Thanks Hueroth. Agreed, did this on MS Paint. Symbol is a paper airplane representing charter industry emails.
The idea is great. The "Air Mail" concept is great. I would rethink the way "plus" is incorporated. The box division of the two ideas looks forced, probably because of the spacing between edges and the words. If nothing else, make every thing sheared / skewed (whatever you want to call it) at an angle similar to the "air mail" text.
Hi, I'm trying to do something for you, this is an idea or an inspiration to make this logotype good and fresh, is just an idea, lets see if someone can helps you.
Thanks. Just to see if I receive better ideas I created a contest at stock logos if you want to continue to try at it from there.
That is an excellent idea!
You should try some colours and make their B/W example. I like the paper airplane so keep working on it :)
i guess the paper aircraft is beautifully done by yousendit.com. guess u need to browse more for how to make good logo designs and take on afresh. all the best :)
If you can. I recommend using Adobe Illustrator or some variant for creating your logo, that way you have no pixelation issues. Save as a PNG format for ultimate crispness on the edges. Keep at it with the paper plane idea! Along the lines of what Virgilio made it can turn out pretty awesome.
I think noone should start designing their own logo, just like you don't start building your own house with your own hands unless you learned how to do it. You did the right thing when you posted a contest for professionals. I suggest that you sit back now and wait for the results. There is no point to think of ideas and compositions if it's far from your profession, you can't expect anything good turning out of that.
The ideea is not quite bad, but the execution is... Try to make it simple, visible and think about developing a visual identity based on the new logo. This is very important. And, try using a designer working on your ideas!
Put the paper plane on the first A, then use lower case for the rest of airmail, the PLUS you can do in Caps again.... just a thought....
Its so serious, i know you have to demonstrate a serious company but this can be better, keep using the airplane.
dont use an aeroplane like a lot of other people have been suggesting, its been used soooooooooooo many times before for this kind of stuff! i would suggest that on your contest brief you ask the designers to come up with something original that hasnt been seen before to represent the airmail side of things. Ive done logos for the contests on stock logos before and there are a massive amount of talented designers that submit logos on that website, im sure you'll find one that will wow you! but please dont do what loads of people do on there and ask someone to design a logo for you just for you to copy yourself!
paper airplane transformers or origami. ;)
