I can understand the concept easily enough and this would work, but it still looks awkward. It does not flow together but rather seems to be its components jumbled together. The font and symbol compliment each other but the overall look just doesn't meld.
This really looks awkward. What is 'g' doing with disabled persons feet?
The whole word mark concept looks unbalanced too.
How about you give this some more thought?
If you are hell bent on using the handicapped sign as part of a letter, maybe try using it for the 'L.'
Sorry- this looks like a big mess to me. No balance at all and the whole thing looks disjointed.
