I think this is a very modern logo and looks very nice also. In my personal opinion I think you could take out the word anavarette out of the mark and put it under or beside it and make the ball smaller of course.

not a very good logo. neither is it memorable enough to be successful. Loose the web 2.0 styles on the logo as it does nothing to improve it. Also you should probably try look at other font choices, probably a nice sans serif font and your graphic mark needs revising also, it is not very unique.

your symbol is ok.but your idea is not good try different typefaces and pay attention to the kerning.loose the said in above comment try to make it simple.
