Brief from client
I made the logo for myself. I am going to make logo's which stand for my hobby's and 1 hobby of mine is watching anime (cartoon-like series). So I decided to create a logo which I would've love to use if I had my own website were you can watch anime. Why a ghost? Well anime is about fantasy and so are ghosts!

Your general idea for placement and elements is good but the execution is very poor. The symbol is okay but the individual elements are too large. It needs to be refined. The main typeface is not good, it lacks uniformity and style. The tagline is too large and the words are tracked too close to one another. The general idea is fine but go back to the drawing board with each individual element.
I keep thinking that an anime ghost should look more anime. It is cute and all, but to me at least, it really doesn't look anime.
I'm not suggesting full blown anime eyes, but maybe a cute kitty style mouth would help.
