I'm liking the logo, only two suggestions.
1.) the ac i would maybe show a tad more? to give more movement and character to the letters.
2.) align the dotted pattern maybe. spacing seems a tad off.
Great job love the concept!
Black and yellow reminds me of Caterpillar, DeWALT, Stanley, and other "though" brands. The scissors, the colors, the sobriety of the mark make me think of all that and not about a graphic design firm.
Nice. Helvetica "a" and "c" are beautiful. Even cut to half they are still beautiful. Scissors are under question I think. Yet it does the job - it catches attention.

I actually like this, make sure the spacing between the dotted line is even though

Concept is good, love the colors, but you definitely need to fix the spacing on the dotted pattern
I honestly don't know what spacing they are talking about...?
The scissors are too small and should probably be eliminated.
Not sure what's going on with the gray before the yellow rectangle?
I just don't get the concept for graphic design.. looks like a seamstress logo to me. But, maybe I'm missing something:.
