Sorry but I read "art act". No one is going to see a N in the symbol.
You're most of the time better off not substituting a character with an image, especially when said character is integral to the brand name.
The symbol itself looks really weird. Did you try to make two hands checking each other? It doesn't come across really easy. Adding a pen in there just adds to the confusion and complicates things even more.
The font is terribly kerned (kerning is the space between individual letters, not to be confused with tracking, which is the space between every letters) Also, that font with these words make them look way too similar. From the thumbnail version, I first thought of "art art".
My advise is to keep things simple and to sketch a lot of ideas down on paper before committing on anything on your computer.

My brain tried reading this as "artifact" at first, trying to make sense of the middle symbol. It is indeed awkward and it doesn't accomplish anything at all.
Back to the sketching board.
