Logo created for a Christan Alternative Rock band. The desired focus was on the A and N letters from the band name "Ascending Nation"
I am by no means a professional designer. I just decided to create this for a band I have connections to as a concept. I posted it here to get some honest, unbiased feedback.
I wanted to create something that could be used as just a logo (the "AN" part) without the words below or with depending on the circumstances.
One change I'm considering is turning the arrows in the middle into white space instead of having their own color.
The tilt of the N may feel a little weird, but I also wanted something a little more eye catching than a straight line of letters.

My first thought having read your presentation is that this looks more like a insurance or bank logo than a band logo.
I guess this is acutally for a worship/folky type of band but I'm not seeing this at all in the type, which looks like it'd better suited for a 90's video game ;)
Pro tip: if you want to have a cool and memorable symbole, avoid having just the initials in a more or less stylized way. Ask the band what they think symbolizes their music, what they like, what they don't. For creativity's sake, discard any idea of having some kind of cross in there, it'd be too on the nose.
Finally, get some inspiration from a simple google search of "band logo", worship band logo", etc.
Don't go for eye catching. Go for appropriate first. You have to start over, nothing works on this current version.
