I think the symbol is very strong and well-thought-out. The spacing between some of the green sections is very small, however, and could be lost when the logo is reproduced at smaller sizes.
It would have been nice to get more of an explanation about the concept so I know more about it.
I don't know why the color bothers me. Actually I think the colors are good, I just don't like them personally. I think they're fine for a bank.
You could have maybe gone dark grey for the typography, to make the symbol stand out a little more. But this is just a stylistic suggestion, I think the mark is already quite strong.
