Brief from client 

An import / export firm in varied products across varied categories. Wanted the GLOBAL aspect to come in the logo.

Incorporated the GLOBAL concept .

I like your symbol alot! I think you should try a different more corporate looking font like Avant Garde or something rounded & modern.

I did a logo with a similar font to yours - see the Wey Marekting logo I uploaded on the Critique page and members shot down my choice of font. The font youvé used - bahaus is an old fashioned font. Maybe try bringing the symbol to the front side of the logo, try different variations. Make the gree a bit lighter and brighter. Here's an idea for you.

Yes the Typography is letting the design down completely. Is that Bauhaus? Absolutely HORRIBLE and just unnecessary in this case.

Take Brand New's suggestion on this!!
