Brief from client
The logo had to be fresh, new and characteristic. The name of the client is Black&Roman Comunicación but they usually define themselves as B&R.
This is the logo I designed for an Advertising Agency from Spain http://www.blackandroman.com/ The name is Black&Roman but they usually define themselves as B&R. It sounds like Bear, so I designed a half bear abstract face. The rest is typography. I upload it here to know your opinions. Sorry if my english is not right, I'm not english-speaking.

First... get rid of the gradients.
The symbol feels forced to me. Bear Yin Yang. But it looks almost painful to the bear to have his face manipulated so much to get the Yin Yang out of him.
The type is just out of control... crammmmmed together up top and streeeetched apart below.
The blue and orange distract from the black and white theme of the symbol and the line is unnecessary.
Sorry, I think this needs more work. I wouldn't throw it away. Just work on the execution.
Plus it looks a bit too much like this:
i agree with the above comment, its a half face bear, rework the symbol, bear is not good for the black and roman for my opinion.
Maybe you should look into some identity solutions ensuring creativity, trademark risk awareness, regulatory insight and resonant design execution.
Gracias!
De nada!
This could actually work with a different layout to avoid connotations to yin-yang symbol and wwf panda and some better typography.
Think about it some more.
Actually is not a panda, is a black bear. The Yin-Yang connotations are made on purpose because it represent a double way: creativity and efficiency, design and profitability, work and passion. Better explanation in the Corporate Identity Manual. Thanks for the critics.
