Brief from client
It`s a new web page where people from the Capital of Colombia will upload and comment about the latest construction in the city. The unique special requirement from the client is to use the colors of the city flag (yellow and red)

I feel that you are not done with a symbol here , is it still work in progress? You can come up with an awesome finish on your symbol, but I will let you do that on your own for now...Remove a cement grey from a symbol color scheme and leave that nice mustard yellow with a burgundy, as a city's flag goes. Instead, add that cement grey into " CONSTRUYE " and a burgundy into " BOGOTA ". I like it overall, move down a " CONSTRUYE " a bit away from " BOGOTA " .Good start , good luck!

Thank you for upgrade and a message , Jose! I think that a bottom one resembles a " K " versus a " B " to a majority - but I still dig your idea of an abstract looking " B " and then " C " next to it. You might save that to a different project in a future. Now speaking of a top one - I saw a heart in a negative space right away. I want to ask you if you can see in your symbol that a " B " that you created has , in fact , two hearts facing opposite directions if you would imagine that dividing line in a middle ( you would need to extend a side on a left with more squares in order to do that )? Let me know,please. I'm just curious.

I came up on my own with these two versions, as you inspired me , Jose. Made the heart straight and , also, added a " C ".
So, since you've already hijacked a thread, I'll bite...what's it supposed to be/represent? It looks like a jumble.
Thanks for a feedback - it helps me a ton! I goofed with a previous versions and made it too complicated, as you have mentioned. So, I fixed my mistakes and made this one in Colombian national colors, plus clean up an entire shape, too.Again, thanks for your input, very much appreciated!

Yes, Charlie, I do and it wasn't helping this time , but how I would've have done it myself. Love or hate me , but when I got an inspiration - I just can't help myself, sorry.
Ok, so if you don't mean to help, then it's just plagiarism. You take someone else's work and make it your own. The saddest part is that you don't even realize it.
I really appreciate your help in order to advice what could be the better way to improve the first symbol I made. Don't Worry about your changes. I take them as a help and not as a plagiarism. But I have to say that Shawali is right. Is not nice to see your name in the version you made, because it is still my idea being changed by you.
Jose, your point is well taken, thank you. I want to suggest a thought for your concept : what if you can make the rest of your squares the way you have done on your middle gray square with a two tone finish? I think that it will benefit and make it more dynamic. Good luck.
For what it is worth, I like the industrial colour palette. They go together well and they are not often used colours in design, so you get something unique out of it.
I see the B and the C, so the symbol works well. The typography fits the feel. It has construction written all over it, without being a typical construction logo.
I like the gray in the logo. I would keep it personally.
All in all, a great job!
