Brief from client 

photography and video.

Client shoots video and photos at drift events around the country.(cars drifting around the track.)

Looks good. My main problem is with the subtext which is barely readable.

Globally, it looks a bit like a skate brand. Is that intentional? The problem is that I don't get any notion of photography and video.

agreed on subtext. if i were to replace it, i feel like it would still need a slanted font.. and no he isnt international yet.

Yeah I totally thought it was going to be a skate brand too!! And (no surprise here) my only issue with this is also the subtext- it's hard to read!

It's nice and clean, I like the even strokes throughout and I even like how the b in the subtext and the m in the subtext go up/down near the ends.

While I don't necessarily get a feeling of 'photography/video' from this- I DO get a little bit of the 'drift' feeling because of the forward leaning font.

Overall, I'd maybe just work on the subtext!!

yea, i was going more towards like a car/racing looking logo instead of a video/phtoto look. The sad thing is this logo will never be used. He said it's to extreme for him(which is what his friends say are holding him back from better things), he would rather have is name typed in veranda and call it a day. Extremely plain and boring, not a good feel for events that he goes to.
