Logo for deparmtnment within municipal government in Burnaby Canada. Focus on volunteering for the elderly and people with special needs. Slogan is "The small department with the big heart"

Loose gradients, pick better colors

Placement of everything is poor

loose the drop shadow

Font is very busy...Cataneo works better with smaller amounts of text IMO. Color is unique and unpredictable...I like it. Not sure what the "v" represents in the heart.

Completely wrong direction.
Do not listen everything from everybody here. Lot of people don't know much about what they are talking about.
Your first version was better with decent typography and color scheme.
