I like the symbol a lot actually. BUT- the font and the messiness of the type is bringing it down. Planes are sleek and aerodynamic. This doesn't convey that. I did something really quick:
Pretty amateurish work.
Choice and treatment of typography is totally wrong and unprofessional.
Tail graphic is so overused it hurts to look at it.
How about you buy some books on graphic and logo design and study for a year and then try doing this again?
Come on, you should go with your first instinct on the "wing" (Correction TAIL)symbol. LOL.. I agree it's used a lot for aviation but is it OVERused? I don't know.
I looked for something really like that symbol and I didn't find anything extremely close. Found a lot more like your new one : (... The wings def have been done.
This I took as the tail of a plane with the line of the fuselage right? So in my mock up I put the Name as if it were written on the plane. But you referred to it as a "wing" symbol... is it a wing or a tail?
If you weren't going for the tail, this might be a happy accident and you can work that out? But then, maybe BOTW and Splash are saying the tail thing has been done??
I agree with G13 that the tail symbol works (though it is a bit common it's the best representation for that industry), but the typography and colours you've used for the type is a mess. Clean it up with a single colour palette and a sleek font (probably a sans serif).

I sent you an email about your critiques. True to form, no fluff from you. LOL I'll submit another and welcome your critique.
The tail is too common, try to find a more unique symbol. The typeface is too fancy. Use something simpler.
Thank you.. Again the typeface point is well taken. Thank you for commenting, I really appreciate it. Posted new logo hope to hear from you.
I guess I don't pay enough attention to aviation logos : ). I didn't know that this was so common of a symbol...
That being the case- I would start re-working it.
But do try to find a clean sleek font.

I meant the TAIL, sorry.
By the way, what do you think of something a bit more simple and/or abstract. It needs to be touched up and made unique, but this came from a doodle.
Funny... I just doodled this.... So, I guess we are thinking along the same lines. Haven't looked at it long enough to know if I like it or not.
